1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LoyalLocal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. User Accounts
You must create an account to use LoyalLocal's full features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service.
3. Earning & Redeeming Points
Points are awarded based on verified check-ins and transactions at participating businesses. Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Points may expire if your account is inactive for 12 consecutive months. Businesses set their own point values and reward thresholds, which may change at any time. LoyalLocal is not responsible for a business's decision to alter or discontinue their loyalty programme.
4. Business Accounts
Businesses that register on LoyalLocal are responsible for honouring rewards claimed by customers through the platform. Businesses must ensure that their loyalty programme terms are accurate and up to date. LoyalLocal reserves the right to suspend or remove any business account found to be operating in bad faith or in violation of these terms.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not use LoyalLocal to: attempt to earn points fraudulently; use automated scripts to interact with the platform; reverse engineer or copy any part of the Service; harass, abuse, or harm other users or businesses; post false reviews or misleading information; or engage in any activity that violates applicable law.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology on LoyalLocal is the property of LoyalLocal Ltd. and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding, logos, or content without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
LoyalLocal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of points, rewards, or business data. Our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (if any) in the preceding 12 months.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your Profile settings. Upon termination, your points and rewards will be forfeited.
